Safety Capability

You may have heard it said that you manage things, and lead people. If we bring this thinking into the world of safety, then the saying could look something like this:

“You manage health and safety compliance, but you lead and empower a safety culture.”

Our approach to safety is different and is based on the premise that to achieve better safety outcomes, safety needs to move beyond something we do and become ingrained in the DNA of the organisation.

Safety isn’t about beating the compliance drum, rather, a high-performance safety culture is achieved when everyone understands their role as a safety leader and the impact they can have on driving a high-performance safety culture, no matter their position in the company. Ownership and accountability is key – everyone is responsible for and impacts safety every day.

We don’t talk about what goes wrong. We talk a lot about what things look like when safety is done well – what great leadership, great safety conversations, and great safety culture look like.

We believe that if we can change the narrative around safety and focus on achieving great outcomes every day, the language and conversations around safety changes.

Our practical safety Leadership programmes are designed based on the  internationally accredited High Performance Learning Journey® methodology to build robust and effective learning.

We utilise the latest thinking in adult learning principles to make the learning relevant and effective for your people.
