Our NZQA Qualifications:

New Zealand Certificate in Business Introduction to Team Leadership (Level 3) - 45 Credits

Purpose: Develops leaders’ capability to lead and engage teams daily.

Target audience: Emerging leaders or those new to team leadership/supervisory roles.

Key unit standards:

  • 29041 – Apply principles for effective performance within a team (20 credits) 
  • 29042 – Develop objectives for a team in a business context (15 credits) 
  • 29043 – Describe and compare different styles of team leadership in a business context (10 credits)

Duration: 64 hours, 8 x full-day sessions over 6-10 months.

New Zealand Certificate in Business First Line Management (Level 4) - 60 Credits

Purpose: Develops leaders’ capability to lead teams to deliver improved performance and outcomes.

Target audience: Those in first-line management roles responsible for others’ performance.

Key unit standards:

  • Unit standard 29040 – Manage work-flows in an organisation (20 credits) 
  • Unit standard 32346 – Develop a team environment and relationships to contribute to a business entity’s objectives (20 credits) 
  • Unit standard 32347 – Lead team performance to contribute to a business entity’s objectives (20 credits)

Duration: 64 hours, 8 x full-day sessions over 6-10 months.

New Zealand Certificate in Project Management (Level 4) - 60 Credits

Purpose: Develops skills in the three stages of project management: initiation, planning/implementation, and closure/evaluation.

Key Unit Standards: Support project initiation [U/s 30358], Support project planning [U/s 30359], Support project execution, monitoring, and control [U/s 30360], Support project closing [U/s 30361], Lead aspects of a project[s] under broad guidance [U/s 30362].

Micro credential 32317: Demonstrate and apply knowledge of digital processes, tasks, security, and data in a manufacturing environment (Level 3) - 5 Credits

Purpose: Enables learners from the Digital Skills for Manufacturing program to apply digital knowledge in a manufacturing environment.

Delivered as an approved sub-contractor to Te Pukenga Competenz.

Duration: 24 hours, 6 x 4-hour sessions with 1 x 2-hour graduation over 12 weeks.
