Overview: This practical, results-focused, leadership-development learning journey equips leaders with the core skills to lead high-performing teams. It’s designed to build leadership confidence, sharpen communication, and strengthen the ability to influence, coach, and deliver results through others. Leaders will explore how to create alignment, lead through change, and drive accountability while developing their own leadership brand and mindset. Learning is applied directly in the workplace, ensuring measurable impact on productivity, culture,e and team engagement.

Target Audience: First-time leaders, mid-level leaders, people managers, and those who manage teams.

Duration: 6 x full-day sessions with online coaching support.

NZQA New Zealand Certificate in Business - First Line Management (Level 4)

Overview: This practical, NZQA-accredited learning journey is designed to elevate the leadership capability of first-line managers. Focused on real-world application, this journey develops leaders who can align their teams to organisational goals, manage change, drive innovation, and deliver measurable business results. It culminates in a formal 60-credit NZQA qualification.

Target Audience: Those in first-line management roles responsible for others’ performance, or leaders and people managers [those leading leaders who manage teams] seeking a formal NZQA qualification.

Duration: 64 hours, 8 x full-day sessions over 6-10 months.

NZQA New Zealand Certificate in Business - Introduction to Team Leadership (Level 3)

Overview: This programme will develop your emerging leaders’ capability to lead and engage with their teams. A practical, entry-level learning journey built around real-world application to build leadership confidence, self-awareness and communication while laying the foundation for inclusive value-based leadership, with a formal NZQA Level 3 qualification [45 Credits].

Target Audience: Emerging leaders or those new to team leadership/supervisory roles, or emerging team leaders and those in team leadership roles seeking a formal NZQA qualification.

Duration: 64 hours, 8 x full-day sessions over 6-10 months.

LeadSafe Supervisors
