Mal has a solid background in business development, and his strength lies in frontline leadership development.

He came aboard The Learning Wave in 2014 after sitting in on some of the sessions delivered by the team. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, qualifications in adult education and numeracy/literacy, and a practitioner’s certificate in PRINCE2 project management.

Mal played a key role in developing our hugely successful Kiwirail Safety Leadership programme, and has created strong relationships with our infrastructure client base.

Mal brings energy and life to facilitation and draws on a 15-year police career to ensure the “better stories” are used to create solid frames around simple but powerful concepts.
