“I’m lucky to do what I love. Working with people at all levels of business is a privilege and joy for me.”
Tracey has been an L&D specialist for over 20 years and became an Associate with The Learning Wave in 2013. She has a passion for peoples professional and personal development in Aotearoa.
“I begin every new group by introducing and explaining the Māori philosophy of learning ‘Ako’. The concept of ako means both to teach and to learn which means sometimes I am the facilitator and other times I am the learner. Throughout our learning journey I know that every person I work with will learn from me and I will learn from them. That’s the joy of what I do”
Supporting her work as an NLP Coach and practitioner, Tracey has a BA in social science, majoring in conflict resolution, and has qualifications in NCALNE Adult Literacy and Numeracy, FLM 4098, grief studies, facilitation and coaching. Tracey has worked with a range of organisations to achieve great results in improving their communication skills, teamwork and productivity.
In 2019, both Tracey individually and a group Tracey worked with (at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare) were recognised at the annual Skills Highway awards. The group were recognised with the Skills Highway Champion Learner group award and Tracey was highly commended as a Facilitator for Workplace Literacy facilitation among her peers across New Zealand.
