Kristen landed in training from a business background and her passion lies in working with businesses and individuals to help them operate in a growth mindset.
A natural curiosity in what drives people to make the decisions they do led Kristen to work in consumer insight and marketing for McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, the Co-op supermarket group, Telecom and independent consulting. In these roles her strength came from interpreting complex data and research findings, and delivering key simple strong messages in an easy-to-understand format, enabling the business to focus on the key areas for development and growth.
Kristen’s facilitation style mirrors this approach of translating complex messages into powerful understandable strategies for personal and business growth. She is passionate about personal development and also enjoys helping teams to develop organisational and consumer empathy. She strongly believes in the value of continuous learning and is taking psychology papers at Christchurch University.
Kristen believes playful and visually creative course design results in deeply engrained learning. She shares The Learning Wave’s ethos of making learning fun and ensuring learning outcomes are strongly connected with organisational goals.
